Ballet and Movement Programs
Fall Program begins September 5th, 2017 Spring Program begins January 15th, 2018
Moving Arts Studio is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 9 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels. Pre-Primary through Level 3 will be taught by ABT® Certified Teachers, Alyce Finwall and Katie Meyers, who have successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. We also offer Contemporary, Acrobatics, Drama and Repertory classes.
The first day of class for the Fall Program is 9/5, with open enrollment continuing throughout the month of September. For more information on open enrollment, trial classes, and our refund policy, refer to the bottom of the page, or feel free to contact us!
Evaluations - Every student in Ballet I and above receives two written evaluations per year. The evaluations will include information on the student’s technical development and attendance. At the end of the year, we have formal evaluations based on the American Ballet Theatre guidelines.
Camps feature a mix of Ballet, Dance (contemporary or jazz), Acrobatics and Theater instruction, offering an introduction to moving arts programs in a fun and enriching one week camp.
Studio Features - Moving Arts Studio offers over 1800 sqft of space, including an appx. 1200 sqft professional sprung dance floor covered in marley, indoor and outdoor waiting areas with comfortable seating, high speed wifi, books and art supplies for the little ones who may be accompanying you, a clean on-site bathroom, easy off-street drop-off/pickup location, and ample neighborhood parking.

Enrollment & Refund Policies for our Fall/Spring Program (Refund policy for Camps may be found on the camp pages):
Before one month prior to the first class: Parents receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee per session cancelled.
Within one month before the first class: Parents receive a refund minus a cancellation fee of $95 per session.
After the first class: No refunds
*Open Enrollment is offered through the first month of each semester (September and January) or until classes fill up. Tuition is due by the student's second class, and may be paid online through the website, by phone, or at the studio by check or credit/debit card. We allow a free trial class prior to enrolling when space permits, but cannot guarantee spots until payment and close enrollment at capacity. Monthly payment options are also available, please contact us for details.
